Maribek, I don't think Teacherman is being inconsistent, maybe just having trouble articulating his postition.Based on his comments,Teacherman realizes that tht and conncection/flail are one and the same. Teacherman simply thinks that the term he invented is more descriptive than Jack's term of tht.I personally think that what is important is the concept, not the terminology.One common reason for someone coming along and inventing a new term is that they want to take credit for the concept by renaming the concept. To Jack's credit, he seems to be unconcerned with others taking his concepts as their own by simply renaming them, because Jack does not have an ego problem. Jack is more concerned with advancing the study of the baseball swing, and certainly everyone will agree that he is a great pioneer in this field.
