Golf & Baseball

I have a player who wants to take hitting lessons to learn the rotational swing mechanics but he is currently playing on the HS golf team. Would training now during his golf season possibly interfere with his golf swing?

Would it be best to start after the fall season and do this during the winter so he will have the swing and new muscle memory before Spring baseball?

Yeah, I know, the two games (swings)are an interesting mix but he loves golf, is pretty good at it but same could be said for baseball.
Just so happens the two seasons do not interfere and he can play both at the HS level.
