Gwynn's Analysis of Bond's Swing

Posted by: JLB (oz2009@verizon.net) on Thu Apr 17 08:10:48 2008

The clip below is over five years old and I would guess it's been disected before on this forum but nevertheless it's a great description on how BHT gets the "pop" in Bond's bat. My 15 year old son struggled catching up to pitches this year until we refocused on using the bottom hand to pull the bat through the "zone" in a CHP across (around) his body. To me, this element of the swing technique--BHT--is what differentiates Jack from Epstein.
