i am a contact hitter but i am not really a power hitter! i wanna know how to generate some power from my hips. ok, should i turn my hips just before i swing the bat or should i turn the hips in the same motion as i am swing the bat? please post your opinion!
Rotating the hips with your shoulders ("in the same motion as I swing the bat" as you put it) will generate more power than if you don't fully rotate your hips but rotating the hips before the shoulders IMO will generate the most power for you. - Tom Waz
