Re: Happy feet

Does anyone have a cure for happy feet while in the box ?

I assume you're talking about younger hitters? I find that it's usually caused by some type of 'fear of the ball' or nervousness. The only tips I can offer is to make sure that the hitters are up on the balls of their feet as I find most 'dancers' are flat footed in the box. Another trick I use is to have the batters go straight from the tee, to soft toss and then BP. Give them 2-3 chances to keep their feet still in BP, if they can't, send them back to the tee and soft toss stations. This is a hard one to fix. Good Luck - Tom Waz
