I'm not a scientist Jack, but I would have to say "rotational inertia" are the forces at work, however the truth is that I can't feel it in the handle, all I know is that when I find the barrell it's sweet!! That certain sound.........."CRACK!!!" Certainly something is going on positive, because the bat want's to fly out of my hands. I can't hit without a tacky grip, to keep the bat from flying out of my hands.
