Re: Hit-a-way

I have an 8 year old son who is in coach pitch little league. He was hitting really good up until we started taking him to those batting cages. He hit there very well (40mph). Now he is having trouble slowing down and hitting from his coach. Does anyone know about this hit-a-way? I thought this might help him to get back to basics and slow down. He he is getting very frustrated. Thank you for any help.

I personally love the hit a way .. I wasnt sure about it at first but after buying one and using it myself and letting my U14 girls use it, I think its the best inexpensive gadget you can use for practicing alone. It helps with the hand-eye cordination as well as being able to take alot of swings working on rotational principles or even developing strength and bat-speed with the over-under load training.
I bought a couple of them for the little team I coach and they are liked more than the bat-action i have and also the pretty expensive swing-away i purchased 2 yrs ago.

I think its a great tool ..
