I don't believe Doug said good hitters become good instructors. I believe he said good hitters figured it out in the batters box not on paper.

Teacherman,

The question was how will most players interpret the linear cues, not how a coach must adjust his teaching to each player's individual batting mechanics. Until you explain and/or describe what "clarification" is needed in interpreting the traditional linear cues, there is nothing further to talk about.
