The best site I have ever found by far for vintage video is Rare Sports Films at http://www.raresportsfilms.com. They've got great video of Ruth, Williams, Gehrig, Ott, Dimaggio, etc. I highly recommend almost any of the videos. If you've got to buy one, buy the "Batting With Ted Williams" plus "The Science of Hitting" w/Ted Williams video as Williams has some great video of many of the stars of the past. It's not mpeg, so you'll have to create the clips yourself.
