I use a Granada pitching machine and some live arm to throw B.P. to my 11 yr. old son. As far as his bat is concerned, I try to mix up the weights and use both aluminum and wood bats. The aluminum he uses is 2 1/4 ich barrel. An example is wood 29"-23 oz 0r 30" 25 oz, the aluminum 30' 20 oz and 29'- 21oz. My question is should I keep mixing up the weights during B.p. and how much wood should I use? The aluminum bats at 2 1/4 do not have a big sweet spot like the bigger senior league bats. My son is about 4'10' tall and about 80 lbs.
