Where does the bat make contact with the ball?

When the bat hits the ball, what is it's relationship to the body? Using Frame 5 as a guide, it appears that contact occurs at 75% of stride. This inmportant for training. When you set up the bag as Mr. Mankin suggests or a T, it should be at the point of optimal power.
Where is this power the most?
