I too, still swing a bat at times. I have tried to get THT and feel it. Watching MLB clips , I focused on the cocking ( forward tipping of the bat to the pitcher) that occurs in front of the batter's head. It seems that when a hitter has the bat more vertical and tipped to the pitcher when he begins his stride then that bat path moves better in what you call THT. I tried it and it worked great. It seemed natural to internally rotate my rear elbow after this set up. Do you promote this arm action or hand cock in front to faciliate THT?
