If the hands are transfering the energy in a rotational swing then you might be looking in the wrong places for power. If you want to study something interesting...look at he great hitters tip their bat towards the pitcher( c-ocking) their hands as they begin their stride.This move is in front of their body. From there they proceed to internally rotate the back elbow and create what Jack calls THT. THT can be hard to find BUT, when your hands cock as described as you begin your stride for some reason the next arm movement naturally is to hide the hands through internal rear elbow rotation. When you feel this then you will have all the power you want. Quit trying to separate the hand actions ' it doesn't work IMHO


i agree its hard to seperate the hand action,,,my kid has a problem "pulling" the knob of the bat to the ball first..he tends to want to just swing instead of the pull motion first...and i can't blame him...the cahrlie lau knob of bat to the ball first is tough to learn after 4 years of muscle memory
