Re: pitching machines hurt swing

I work my athletes almost exclusively on soft toss, tee work, and other drills like one handed soft toss. Eventually though, the player has to be able to hit a moving object and no matter how mechanically sound the swing is, you have to move to a moving object to get timing and picking up and following the ball in. As long as the swing is technically correct, the machine won't do anything to harm that.
