GRC BAT PLACEMENT

Posted by: RQL () on Thu Sep 7 15:34:02 2000

GRC I LOOKED UP THE POST AND TRIED OUT THE DIFFERENT ANGLES TODAY.MY BAT WAS AGAINST MY SHOULDER FOR BEST COMBO OF POWER AND CONSISTENCY,HOWEVER I HIT ALOT MORE LINE DRIVES AND HARD GROUNDERS ON THE TRICEP.ONTHE NECK I BEGAN TO GET UNDER IT ALITTLE MORE.I SUGGEST USE WHATS COMFORTABLE AND 1000S OF SWINGS WILL GET YOU SQUARE ON THE BALL.I AM PUTTING PRESSURE ON THE BAT THOUGH AGAINST MY SHOULDER AND I THINK THAT COULD HELP IN CHECK SWINGS.I AM MORE CONSISTENT WITH THE THOUGHT OF TWIST AND TORQUE RATHER THAN TORQUE AND TWIST BUT THIS COULD BE FROM YEARS OF MUSCLE MEMORY.IM SPEAKING ABOUT YOUR QUES ON TOP HAND TORQUE BEING CONSCIOUS. I DO BELIEVE IT IS CONSCIOUS BUT MAYBE IF YOU DO IT LONG ENOUGH IT BECOMES UNCONSCIOUS WILL LET JACK HAVE THAT ONE OR SOMEONE WHO HAS DONE IT FOR A LONG TIME.
