Transfer of weight

Posted by: tonyd (tony_desantiago@hotmail.com) on Thu Feb 12 07:42:39 2004

As the front foot hits, is there a noticeable shift in weight from the back to the front foot? I think my son is staying back and rotating. Although, at times it appears that he hits the front foot hard (45)and rotates, and when that happens the bat stays on plane and his contact is ferociously solid. What I mean is, sometimes his bat end tends to fly up in the air instead of staying on plane. If he is staying back, is this something you would see? (I do plan on sending Jack a video of my son and hopefully we can tweak him.) Please clarify the transfer of weight to the foot/legs.
