Nick-

Sorry if this was confusing.I would consider them all "purely" (linear momentum from forward motion of center of gravity transformed to rotational via front heel drop/block,no hip slide/lunging after heel drop) rotational on most well executed swings.

They all create body torque and stay connected through contact with great timing.

What is "stylistically" different are the upper body mechanics that keep the torso back while the hips are opening.You do not have to center the bat to do this.You do need to create good body torque/load and unload efficiently and swing the bat in the momentum plane and stay connected until contact.They all seem to do that well.

Do you see it differently ?
