Have your son begin his loading action by turning in his front shoulder instead of moving his hands. Have him concentrate on keeping his hands still and loading up with an inward rotation of his front shoulder and knee. This will promote just as much power,and quicken his swing. Once he gets his muscle memory working than the habit of locking his lead arm will end! Lousville Slugger also publishes a book on 50 hitting faults and fixes. They cover this in there as well
