> > > i also lean a little bit on my front leg as i stride to a bent front knee. this is the only way, i repeat the only way to get any kind of hip involvementinto the swing. then I try to rotate the front knee and my body leans back automatically. i got that tip from Jack M. i credit some of his advice for my last improvements.

Certainly it's hard to determine what is really going on without seeing the swing first hand, but leaning on the front foot is not my feel at all and raises all kinds of potential flaws in my mind. You keep up the good work and let me know if need anything.

> when i say lean, it brings a bad picture to your mind, i understand that. but actually it is not leaning it is more like a 60-40 weight distribution on the front foot as adviced by Epstein. i used to keep all the weight back but you dont get maximum bat speed that way plus you have all kinds of contact problems. believe me, what i am seeing is good. for the first time i feel really comfortable. once you get into the legs funk you cant go back. if you watch, mlb in slow motion it is what they do.
> i alson think "rotate the front knee" and it gets my front side rotated very fast and hard. believe me when i say those cues work for me. anyway, next i am going out with a bunch of guys and i will test my swing against arm pitching. my guys will certainly will notice the difference if there is any. i am sure they will find it weird. i currently practice with our RBI man. he is a great hitter that uses lower body but talks about the hands all the time. funny thing, ainīt it?

I am very much on your side Toti. I like the idea of more weight on the front to start and think you will notice some changes. I was under the impression that you were somehow making a move to the ball with you legs and that had me worried. Keep us updated on the BP and one thing I honestly believe............you'll figure it out.
