I am a high school fastpitch player and have been working extensively on my hitting with a local college coach. He constantly teaches taking the hands to the ball, I always do door knobs(taking the butt of the bat to the ball, literally), so as you could imagine, I was surprised to see that this is bad!I was just wondering exactly why.
