Another thing id like to add...
After watching players with short swings, i realized there lead foot was almost pointed directly at the pitcher which allowed them to have full rotation on the hips. My lead foot was almost perpendicular to the pitcher when i hit which limited my hip rotation.
Im still casting my arms half way through my swing so i tried to work on that but my top hand keeps dropping in my swing. So i went back to flexing my arm/shoulder against my chest so my hands would stay near my body instead of casting them out. Am i going in the right direction? Is the idea of flexing my arm/shoulder against my chest a alternative?
Have you ever heard of anyone using this technique and do u think its effective?
