question for Jack Mankin

Posted by: () on Thu Dec 11 07:25:53 2003

I have a question, when you see that the pitch is a ball and don't swing shouldn't your approach still be that your hips have started but you stopped yourself. In other words when you take a don't swing because you recognized it's a bad pitch your hips should have still made a move as if your swing should have started?

simpilily put I have trouble starting my swing because I am confused on How i take a pitch. for example when I don't swing because it's a ball my hips and whole body have not made any attempt to swing which makes it hard for me to even start my swing when It's a strike.

I'm not sure if you understand?
thanks!
