hi yohan .. if you are asking at the launch postion are the hips and the shoulders seperated before the swing begins ? I would say yes, and in my opion if a batter doesnt get into that correct launch postion. it will be hard for the rest of the swing to be correct. For a better description then I can give look at the swing mechanics section on this web site up to frame E launch postion . where it says how the hips are open10 to 20 degrees and the you can see the front shoulder is closed . again my opion if the front shouldr is not closed at this point .The hands will leak foward before the swing begins . and then the hands will be pushed out in a linear fashion once the swing begings .disconnecting from the rotating body
