Re: The back should drop

HI MIKE .. IN MIKE EPSTEIN BOOK HE DESCRIBES THE BACK SHOULDER AS DROPPING TO START THE SWING. AND WHEN I LOOK AT THE SWING OF SUCESSFUL MAJOR LEAGUE HITTERS IN SLOW MOTION. THATS HOW IT LOOKED TO ME .BUT LATTER IT WAS DESCRIBED A BETTER WAY I THINK . THE BACK SHOULDER LOWERS FROM A HIGHER POSTION TO A LOWER POSTION AS IT ROTATES INTO THE BALL. AS FAR AS THE POSTIONAL HITTING BOOK I THINK MANY OF CEVALLOS IDEAS ARE SIMILAR TO THIS WEB SITE . THOU WHEN I STATED THAT BEFORE ON THIS WEB SITE. SOME WROTE IN TO DISPUTE THAT. THE MAIN COMPLAINT AGAINST CAVELLO BOOK BEING THE NUMBERS ON THE ANGLES OF HIS HITTING POSITIONS DIDNT ADD UP. I DONT KNOW I NEVER ATTEMPTED TO TRY AND MEASURE THEM. THOU I AGREE WITH HIS GENERAL IDEA, OF ROTATING THE BAT (HEAD] RIGHT AWAY ON A FLATTER PLANE,USING THE BODY AS A POWER SOURCE, AND KEEPING THE ARMS(ELBOWS)CONNECTED OR VERY CLOSE TO THE ROTATING BODY. RIGHT UNTIL CONTACT
