I think you can usually feel that the back elbow has plateaued and started down by the time the toe touches.Less down for inside location when you are really turning on the ball/trying to quicken up.Not in the slot until launch.

Hey guys,

Thanks for the info. I was not only looking for reasons as to why it was wrong but also motivation to change. At my level, if you have experienced success throughout your career you have to be extremely motivated to want to change something. You have to see the benefit in change before embarking on the process to change. I know my gliding to center is not helpful and I will begin to work to change it. It comes from years and years of reaching with the front foot and not allowing any weight to go forward on the stride. Once I get to toe touch my weight then has to shift forward in order to center and once heel drop occurs there is usually one more frame of the gliding; however, my swing hips/shoulders/hands don't initiate until the gliding stops. Anyway, I gotta get a firewire so I can post some swings. Jack, I will send you your tape here shortly. Planning on filming this weekend. Thanks all!

andy
