Sorry if this is repetitive, I just recently obtained the video.
My question is: is there any perceived advantage to an open stance, in generating rotational mechanics. I have experimented a bit with two of my players whose swings seem very "linear" with seemingly good results. With a somewhat (not exaggerated) open stance AND a good inward turn, it seemed like they were turning very well on inside pitches that usually jam them, and still able to hit the outside pitches well.
Probably an oversimplification, but just wondering what the thinking is.
