Re: Re: Coach C

Coach C, I tried to post last night, but it did not go through. Just to get it straight, I am 56 years old and can do a 6.6 if it is from the computer to the refrigerator. I have a nice swing at a golf ball, and if you played for coach "D" at UNLV in the mid 80's, with Matt Williams, Mike Oglesbee, Reed Peters and Steve Moser, then I scouted you too. My son was a Freshman All American at UCLA this past year and he does not post on this board. The young man who did needs to be encouraged to get better and learn and not be made fun of. At my age, I am still trying to learn and will continue to do so until they put me in a box.

Coach C, Glad that is cleared up. I just watched the last clip of your son and really liked the action he has with his front knee and hip (loading & cocking). He has fine rotation and when he gets older and gets stronger, his hands and arms will work even better. I would start him on squeezing silly putty or hand grips right now, and when he gets to high school he will be way ahead of the other hitters.

Regards, Doug
