I can understand the agressiveness of H.S., College and professional players, even older youth players....but you are talking about 8 year olds, 3rd grade and younger. Not too many 8 year olds understand about a "war to live and die for". At that age, it's supposed to be fun and a learning tool for when they get older.

Honestly, I'm appalled if you're encouraging and implying a lack of concern for a hitter injuring a young boy, doing it on purpose and celebrating the fact.

These are children have fun, play and learning a game they love....no need for war for 8 year olds.
