Hi,

First question would be who is throwing to him, from what distance, overhand, underhand? When he used to hit well what were the circumstances? My feeling about a seven year old is that the main point is hand, eye coordination, not mechanics. Throwing to him at his own level (ie, sitting on a stool) is very important.
