All of these pitches were down the middle for the most part. Regardless, he clearly slots his elbow differently than me. My point on the lead elbow is that when it points down through-out the swing, it explains how the elbow was slotted to begin with. It's an end result of a good swing. Don't get me wrong here, cause he doesn't fold it perfectly. He goes through the ball high, but then finishes low. He needs to learn how not to be so high through the ball and teaching him to fold properly in the follow through (starting from the end and working back to the beginning) will not effect shoulder/bat plane, but produce a more efficient plane on the ball. I'm sure I've lost you on this, but in due time I'll put up some new videos with me and him demonstratng this. My theory is that teaching the proper fold in the arms (working from the end to the beginning) may be a very valuable teaching aid. "The end (follow through) justify's the means (the actually swing)"
