Last year I purchased the High School/College model for my son to use and have it setup in our basement. It does provide a bright red light for a pitch warning which I immediately covered with tape because it was distracting and interfered with tracking the small ball. It is not difficult to get into the rhythm of each pitch based on the sound coming from the machine prior to pitch delivery. It is a great machine for indoor training and reps.
