Matt, what exactly is your son telling the other boys to do. Am reading through the site and have the cd, but finding it a little difficult to comprehend the difference between linear and rotational since I never played ball. My son was alway taught hips before hands, but still am not clear on whether this has anything to do with rotational. He has been dead at the bat lately.

One big key was to get away from the idea of taking the hands straight to the ball and to get in the mind set of contacting the ball with the top arm not fully extended. It seems like the idea of starting the know towards the catcher instead of the pitcher helped his swing get started out on the right track. I'm sure, though that Jack could explain the technicalities & answer your question far better than I can.

The reason people ask is the quickness of your results is impressive. The specifics of how you teach these principles is therefore of interest.
