Ruth, Williams and Bonds all start with the bat more vertical, the hands low. Great power hitters. Everything looks relaxed. Lot of god hand movement back and in.
Wade Boggs and Bret Boone also had/have good pre launch. Then there were/are guys like DiMaggio and Garciaparra who have little pre launch movement. Take your pick.
