Hi Jerry

With the better hitters, I have noted more rearward rotation of the bat on outside pitches than with pitches closer in. Therefore, as the back-elbow lowered to the slot, they must have rotated the rear-forearm more on pitches away. -- Below are a couple posts on hitting the outside pitch.
