I am just about to buy the video and am 90% sold on the mechanics. However, how do you deal with outside pitches using rotational mechanics methodology?

A rotational swing is not about waiting......it's about hitting the ball deep into the body, this is the goal for inside pitches and outside pitches. We want to feel that we're always hitting balls off the back shoulder, not the front shoulder (even on inside pitches we want that feeling).

Doug

Location of contact point,it is relevant to where you stand in box.If you stand with your front toe in line with rear corner point of plate you can make contact from as much forward as half way between front corner and back corner point,to well back past rear corner that angles back to back of plate.Get a tee and place it at different locations on o.s. corner and stand where you normally do and take 200-300 swings and see what is comfortable to you.My zone is when I am right on it I can hit it to straight center if I am a little late it shoots in the gap, really late between ss and 3rd[lefty] a little early and you blow it,so strive to be a fraction late .
