Hi Doug,

Did you view the overhead clip (now that I posted a good link)? I don't think he's lunging at all, as he seems to hit against a pretty firm front leg. However, his arms do appear to be left behind his rotating torso, as seen in this frame (taken from that clip):

P.S.
(caution: proud Dad about to brag!) Wed. night, in the final game of fall ball Majors (where he's playing up as a young 9), in his final AB, he blasted a hard line drive single past the second baseman off the biggest pitcher in the league! :-) That should do wonders for his confidence over the winter (as he moves on to basketball). :-)
