Re: batspeed through contact

i was looking at another site discussing power. ray demarini was talking about him hitting compared to his friend. he had analyzed both of their batspeeds. both had similar swings and their batspeeds were both 95 mph. however his friend hit the ball considerably further. he found out that his batspeed after contact slowed down to 56 mph. his friend was able to keep his bat speed up to 89 after contact. what can be done to assure your batspeed stays high after contact

mbc4, How far after contact was the batspeed measured? Eventually the batspeed will slow down to zero. I think that something was amiss with the device that was measuring the speed, as if it was 95mph at contact and then 56mph 5 inches after contact, that would send up a red flag on the speed device. As I have stated before, I am not a scientist or engineer, but batspeed going down 40mph in just a few inches does not sound right to me.
