Working with younger kids I found it easier if I tell them to "finish faster than you started".
The tendancy is to slow down after contact, which usually translates into slowing down AT contact. The hitter needs to hit "through" the ball and not "to" the ball.
Another key would be to finish your swing with your belly button or belt buckle facing the pitcher. This will indicate a proper hip rotation.




> Push with your rear hip against the ball of the femur.

> Don't let the weight shift until "go".
