i know when you setup in the box the knuckles are suppose to line up my question is this, i can line up my knuckles easily but in what position should my wrist be , i guess what i am trying to get at is this when i go to the batting cages and swing sometimes i can flat out scould a ball and i check the position of my knuckles and they are lined up when i hit it poorly i check and they are still lined up is there a point of reference where your knuckles and wrist should be from the settup

There is a lot more going on in the upper body set up/ load besides the knuckles. The bat angle and postion at toe touch, the hands "hidden" or not, the scap pinch, etc. etc. I think many players regrip the top hand as the rear elbow slots so that grip at set up is not necessarily the grip at contact. Whats going on behind the helmet is an important subject that coaches overlook sometimes. THere has been much good dialogue on this site about it too. See inward turn/scap load dialogues...great stuff! You might find out why you are inconsistent. Sometimes you do it right and sometimes you do it wrong. You must know why....
