Joe,

Im 30 years old now and played D1 ball from 91-95. If I would have figured out that less was more 10 years ago, I would have been a hell of alot better hitter then. Unfortunetly, I just now figured it out playing in a relatively strong city league. I make better contact with a softball bat at 75% than I do with an aluminum baseball bat @ 90 - 100%.. It's just like golf...the smoother you are the farther it goes. Ex. Jeff Bagwell 150% .275 avg. Pujoles 85% .350 and a hell of alot more dingdongs.
