I open my shoulders and hips too soon when I swing. I try to concentrate on keeping them closed but my body wont cooperate. Because of this flaw, I have trouble hitting offspeed and outside pitches. Could someone please offer me some drills or strategies to correct my swing?
I think you need to spend more time in the hole and on-deck getting your timing/small stride down for the pitcher your facing. I think if you took about 1,000 swings off a tee over a week or so this problem will be eliminated.
