Coaches are reluctant to engage and challenge Jack - why?

Posted by: Coach Tom () on Sat Jul 29 21:59:06 2000

Hi GRC, Jack and others:

I frequently read all batting discussion boards and I have noticed that many of the discussion boards are discussing Jack's theories and mechanics more than the host's theories. But have you noticed (GRC) that the same people who challenge Jack's theories on other sites are shy (to be nice) to challenge Jack in his own forum. Surprisingly, even Steve T recently backed away when Jack tried to stimulate a discussion on the Kinetic chain - why is this?

I have noticed lately that once Jack posts a message, other "batting authorities" (even his biggest dissenters) refuse to engage in a batting discussion with him. Why?

GRC (and others), I know why (I think), I remember reading Jack's post a year ago or so when he posted on other peoples sites, and I remember how he stifled them at every corner. Jack refuted every counter argument with clear and sensible logic. Next time GRC, think a little first and the answer may become more apparent to you.

Jack, I personally enjoy reading your posts and I also wish other batting authorities would challenge you because I like the discussion.

By the way Jack: I also thought that your tape was useful and it allowed me understand your swing mechanics even better.
