Where do you get this info from that your eyes have to jump to see the pitch all the way in?
Seeing the ball out of the hand is very important, seeing the mid flight of the ball is just as important, and seeing the ball into the hitting zone is also just as important.
Doing so is possible if it is actually concentrated on and practiced.
Practicing seeing and focusing on the ball is just as important as the mechanical portion of the swing...maybe more important.
