Re: Re: how to fix a loop in your swing

lately during my swing I've been looping my swing and popping up everything. I come down then i just make a big uppercut. I dont even notice im doing it until I watch my swing in slo-mo. Would anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this problem? You might try using two tees, both with balls on top; one tee located about 10 to 12 inches in front of the second tee. Go through your load, short stride and swing mechanics (swinging down quickly at the farthest ball). Do not strike the first ball. Hope this helps.

Try to concentrate on hitting the top half of the ball. Make sure your front foot is striding toward the pitcher. (You may be bailing out on your swing.) If these do not work, try holding your bat in a level position and simply swing accross like Joe Dimaggio. (Also see Pete Rose.) This may be an extreme from what you are used to but it may help. Good Luck!
