> This is a tough question because we can't see weight distribution with a scale at contact like we can see other things very clear in the swing.However I agree with Jack on this,my thought though is that we do see at contact the rear foot on the toe,we cannot balance most of our weight on the toe,and the back side is driving through the front side and being caught and turned into rotation as the swing goes.Only as the follow thru is finishing high and beyond does the weight shift back to the rear foot which is when the ball of the rear foot comes back into contact with the ground so it can catch and balance the weight that is coming back onto it.Tom Guerry once told me this was reactivetorque I think where the energy had went up through the body as the swing progressed in the kinetic chain and in the follow thru the weight works itself back down to the back leg and off the inside of the front leg.
