Re: help!

i'm going to be a jr. in high school this year, and i want to be at the top of my game by this spring. my question is my swing. when i swing with linear mechanics i make contact most of the time, but when i swing with rotational mechanics i have more power but the pitches i hit the most consistant are the low fastballs and curves. So should i work harder on the rotational mechanics or just take the easy way out and use linear mechanics. (when i throw my hands at the ball i usually inside out but with rotational i don't) I am a die hard baseball fanatic and my dream is to play pro baseball and i feel the only way i can accomplish that is to get maximum performance. If anyone can give me and opinion i would really appretiate it.

TAKE THE EASY WAY OUT AND DO LINEAR!
Why? Because if you're even bothering to ask this question, then you'll never work hard enough to make the Majors. Rotational are it. Most of the MLBer's use it and those who don't are just exceptional athletes with a lot of practice. You obviously have doubt in your mind that you will be able to use rotational mechanics. Your complaining about only being able to hit low fastballs and curves, but what are you doing about it. NOTHING. Instead of practicing and trying to improve, your sitting here wasting your time chatting on the Internet, and deep down hoping someone will come up with some good reasons for you to use linear mechanics so you can take the easy way out. Good luck in these last two years of High School ball, they might be your last.
