Re: Head movement

Does anyone think that your head is suppose to move and turn in while "tracking" the ball?

I do.
When the pitcher throws the ball, try keeping you head perfectly still as the ball enters the catchers mitt. You should be seeing the ball from release till it reaches the mitt. If you don't follow the ball all the way, then you need to move your head so your eyes can see. But still try to keep the head as still as possible. To much head movement will make it hard to make contact. Watch John Olerud. His head doesn't move. Wade Boggs always watched every pitch into the catchers glove.
