Your statement was "As the hips turn, they turn the entire torso".

That statement either shows a fundamental ignorance of human anatomy, or it doesn't. I would think you'd be interested in showing that you know what you're talking about.

So:

What muscles do you say trigger rotation of the hips?

What muscles do you say trigger rotation of the torso?

What muscles do you say trigger rotation of the torso as they trigger rotation of the hips?

To what skeletal structures are each of these "move my torso by rotating my hips" muscles of yours attached?
