Re: Re: I am desperdate for help

I always used to hit the ball the opposite way or right up the middle and never pulled. I was never a power hitter. But then I learned to pull. I started hitting a lot of homers. That was my best year. Then last year I struggled A LOT and am still struggling this year. Last year i seemed to just ground out to second every time I got up. This I am popping out a lot. I went golfing in between my best year and last year (when i started struggling). Could that be a problem? If you have any advice please share it. I am desperate.

GOLF MAY NOT NECESSARILY BE THE PROBLEM. THERE ARE MANY FACTORS THAT CAN BE ATTRIBUTED TO A SLUMP. IF POSSIBLE I WOULD SUGGEST VIDEO TAPE. YOU SHOULD KNOW HOW YOUR SWING LOOKS WHEN YOU ARE DOING WELL AS WELL AS WHEN YOU ARE NOT DOING AS WELL. IN ADDITION, SOMETIMES PLAYERS JUST HAVE CAREER YEARS (PAUL KONEKO OF THE WHITE SOX). I WOULD SUGGEST TRYING TO HIT TO THE OPPOSITE FIELD FIRST AND THEN TRYING TO PULL THE BALL AGAIN. MANY TIMES WHEN HITTERS STRUGGLE IT IS GOOD TO GO BACK TO BASIC FUNDAMENTALS THAT MADE YOU SUCCESSFUL IN THE FIRST PLACE. THE BATTING CAGE MAY HELP AS WELL. GOOD LUCK!
