Hi Graylon

The action you are describing is nothing new. The physics term for the force the hands are applying to the handle that causes the bat to turn around the hands is ‘Torque.” Over 15 years ago, I defined the forces that causes the bat to first turn back as “THT” and the force that causes it to turn toward the ball as “BHT.”
